The Company

Motowear

The emotion of living on two wheels. The feeling of freedom that increases at each travelled kilometer. This is the spirit that has been driving Riffel since its foundation, when the company started to produce and trade crowns and pinions for transmissions.

Consolidated as a supplier of parts for the main assembly plants of motorcycles in Brazil, the company has built its successful history joining industrial knowledge with the passion for motorcycling, treading on a growth path focused on quality and technology.

The company, which started as a family business, is headquartered in Blumenau (SC), and currently includes a solid production and logistic structure capable of serving several market segments efficiently. It counts on a Distribution Center in the Northeast and on its own manufacturing unit in China.

In the metal-mechanical area, Riffel has stood out over the decade with the production and trade of steel crowns and pinions for the spare parts market, which have been exclusively incorporated, due to their quality and technology, to the assembly line of important motorcycle brands such as Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kasinski, Dafra, Triumph, Husqvarna, Traxx and others. The high quality of the raw material and of the processes used by the company for machined and zinced steel parts, guarantees respect and trust in the segment, fostering the export of Riffel products to the United States and to Latin America, and broadening its frontiers to include Asia and Africa.

Keeping an eye open to new market opportunities, the company has successful invested in the expansion of the business in recent years with the entrance in the plastic segment to produce new replacement parts – a mix that includes blinkers, headlights, panels and other accessories for several motorcycle models.

Evidencing once more its capability to go further, Riffel pioneered in the manufacture of motowear in Brazil, and, since 2005, it has been producing a fashion inspired by the way of life of motorcyclists. From 2007 on, the company also started to invest in safety accessories, such as jackets, pants, boots and gloves, which had contributed to making the brand more acknowledged and admired by the consumer.

A vision that gave birth to the Motospirit concept, translating the brand’s wish to communicate directly with the universe of those who love two wheels.
